OMGosh! Hey there, WOOOOO look at that…
It’s been quite a while since I’ve sat down to write a proper post. Sorry about that! I’ve been rather busy, preoccupied, and well… lifing. Is “lifing” a word? Maybe I mean living. LOL
SO-O… A lot has happened between 2023-2025. I’ve been staying busy, to the point that some days feel like that Dali painting, “The Persistence of Memory,” you know… the one with the melting clocks in the desert? Yeah, that’s how I feel time is timing these days.

You know in the background, at the distance on the horizon, there’s beach. Maybe that’s a visual cue for a Jen-cation to somewhere with salt in the air. I should definitely make time for that.
OR, maybe it’s TIME to get back to painting. I have 2 large canvases awaiting in the wings.
Speaking of making time, I just started been using the TO-DO-25 list (thanks Josh) to keep on track and get sh!t done. One of the things on my list this week was to give my blog some TLC and get back to writing more. *note to self, add go on a Jen-cation to the list.
Honestly, there’s not time for a vacation. We’re full on puppy mode at the moment. One of the many things that has been stealing time, kisses, and hearts. <3

MEET BIANCA- she’s our “final pug” hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa… at least that’s what we keep telling ourselves at the moment. But I think there’s always room for one more Pug, am I right? Just ask the boy… Bianca was mostly his idea, I just called his bluff. You’re welcome hun. But seriously, Pugs are the BEST dog IMHO. We’ve had Pugs in our lives for nearly 20 years now. Bianca & CHIP have been getting along so well. Definitely a good decision to add a second Pug to the family.
Speaking of memory, (just referring back to that Dali painting, see what I did there?) I wanted to catch up on time. What have I been up to these days? Well, menopause has been fun. Not really, but I guess that is how Mother Nature and Father Time have reminded me that I’m actually getting older. Thank you to the extra 20 pounds that I’ve gained. Just means there’s a bit more of me to love.
Speaking of older, and saving the best for last on this quick post… the kiddo graduated high school, woot woot!! Josh and I are super proud of her and beyond thrilled to watch her grow and flourish into being an adult. I’m LUCKY to be her mom. Seriously, LP’s the BEST! I can’t wait to see where her next part of life takes her. I’m here for it! That’s what’s important.

And on that high note… I’m signing off for now. There’s so much more to catch up on.
